Navy ordinance, proposals, internal/external communications. Quality assurance
for department written communications. Managed document version control. Liaison

Wrote and edited numerous database users manuals. Held DoD secret clearance.
1984-1985: Self-employed Writer. Wrote and produced several retail
newsletters plus advertising/marketing and public relations materials for a
variety of clients including a local country rock band, a dance studio and
semiprofessional dance troupe, and assorted other retail account. Wrote four
unpublished novels.
1981-1983: Waxie Maxie’s Quality Music. Advertising Director,
in-house advertising agency. Responsible for all aspects of planning and
execution of $500K annual advertising budget, including planning, marketing
support, co-op funding, and creative. Wrote, laid out, scripted, produced ads
for print and broadcast media.
1978-1980: Rozicer-Trotter and Some Others Advertising Agency. Media
Director. Print and broadcast advertising copywriting, design and layout,
public relations, marketing, and special client projects. Clients included
restaurants, entertainment venues, retail, financial institutions. Classified
advertising manager and contributing writer for the Northwest Current
newspaper, a subsidiary of the advertising agency.

Skills: APA Publications Manual; Chicago Manual of Style; assorted
house styles. Competent on many PC-based software packages, particularly Word
and WordPerfect 5.1/DOS. Excellent keyboard skills.
